Safety
The brush is secured so that nothing can enter between the rotating components. Includes catnip
To get your cat used to the brush, the package includes catnip. This can be added to the brush via the flap. In this manner, you can acclimate your cat to the machine. (Note that not all cats respond to catnip)

Methodically
